     Mountain Top Cares Coalition is a 501c volunteer organization serving those with substance use issues and in recovery in our community in the mountaintop towns of the northern Catskills.

    Mission: Mountain Top Cares Coalition is a nonprofit organization serving people with substance use disorders and issues of addiction in the mountain top communities of Greene County New York. Our mission is to promote recovery and empower those we serve and their families through advocacy, referrals, education, and peer support.

    Vision:

    We envision a world in which recovery from addiction is not only possible but celebrated, and where all who seek recovery have access to the care and resources they need to achieve their goals. 

     Who we are and what we do:

    • Recovery Coaches and Peer Counselors-our ‘Care Team’
    • Navigators-refer people to available services
    • Family Services and family outreach
    • Narcan training
    • Working with Drug Treatment Court of Greene County
    • Helpline
    • Women in Recovery-innovative program focusing on the unique issues facing women in recovery
    • Recovery Jobs Initiative-working with the Department of Labor placing people in recovery with employment on the mountaintop
