Transformation Yoga Project

  • About Us

Founded in 2012, Transformation Yoga Project (TYP) serves people impacted by trauma, addiction and incarceration through trauma-sensitive, mindfulness-based yoga. Participants develop skills to heal and navigate life with comfort and ease.

TYP manages multiple programs running concurrently at inpatient and/or outpatient recovery centers, behavioral health facilities, sober living homes, prisons, jails, detention centers, juvenile centers and re-entry programs programs. In 2016 program participation exceeded 6,500.

The organization is in a transitional stage as it evolves from a start-up to an established sustainable service organization.
