The Laundromat Project

  • About Us

The Laundromat Project builds and nourishes creative community leaders by using arts, culture, and creativity to turn strangers into neighbors, in order to foster more resilient and interconnected neighborhoods. We do this by meeting people where they are--laundromats, parks, schools, libraries, and even sidewalks. Our seven values underscore everything we do, and we are deeply inspired by the amazing communities in which we work--particularly Bed-Stuy, Harlem, and Hunts Point/Longwood.
