    The Sierra Club San Francisco Bay Chapter carries out the mission of the Sierra Club in Alameda, Contra Costa, Marin, and San Francisco Counties:

    Explore, enjoy, and protect the earth; Practice and promote the responsible use of the earth's ecosystems and resources; Educate and enlist humanity to protect and restore the quality of the natural and human environment; Use all lawful means to carry out these objectives.

    Our top local priorities are working towards environmental justice, combating climate change, promoting clean energy, and preventing urban sprawl.
