About Us
The Progressive Center for Independent Living, Inc.’s (PCIL) mission is to “advocate for the rights of people with disabilities (PwDD) to achieve and maintain independent lifestyles. PCIL is unique in that it is operated and governed by people with disabilities. Since 1996, PCIL has worked with hundreds of individuals and hosted numerous workshops and conferences on a variety of subjects, including employment issues. PCIL partners with individuals on a continual basis, specifically in the areas of employment support and peer counseling
