About Us
The mission of the Bayonne Community Mental Health Center is to address the mental health care needs of the individuals and institutions of the City of Bayonne and surrounding communities. This is accomplished by reducing the severity of the psychiatric symptoms which diminish individuals’ ability to live freely and productively in their home and community; by helping individuals develop their psychological and social strengths in order to improve personal and social functioning; by helping individuals experience a greater sense of self-determination, satisfaction, and connection with others; and, by joining with others to build social institutions which nurture individuals and promote social good.
