About Us
Dallas Vegan is an organization formed for the vegan and vegetarian community (and those interested learning more about the lifestyle) in the greater Dallas/Fort Worth area. We seek to help educate the community as to the many positive impacts of a vegan lifestyle such as one's overall health, the environment, and animal welfare. Our goal is to support and encourage the local vegan and animal rights community through our events, as well as our online news content, and other outreach activities.
Our premier event is the Texas State Veggie Fair, which in October 2012 will celebreate the 3rd annual. Thousands of visitors from across the DFW Metroplex and beyond will gather to celebrate and educate in a fun, welcoming festival atmosphere. The event has garnered national publicity in print and online publications. We aim to become a premier veg festival in the country.
