Canyon Blooms Petals for Patients

Canyon Blooms Petals for Patients is a 501c3 nonprofit organization whose mission is: “Donating flowers as a gesture of kindness to those in need.” In partnership with community members, volunteers, employees and organizations in Yakima, we bring joy to those in our community who are going through difficult times. Our farm team grows thousands of beautiful flowers each year on the farm and works with the studio team to create beautiful bouquets that are delivered twice per week. We sell bouquets at local events and markets to generate revenue to help offset the costs of the farm, and also fundraise and receive donations.

Dr. Kara Lolley, our founder, was inspired to create “Petals for Patients” during the height of the Covid pandemic.  She saw so much suffering and realized that she could bring a moment of joy to someone simply by giving the gift of flowers.  “Flowers are a universal message of kindness. And the world needs more kindness right now.” 100% of the profits of our flower sales go to providing farm-fresh flowers to those in hospice, long-term nursing care facilities, women’s shelters, homeless support centers, and other areas of need.
