  • About Us

We are the hub for Quakers and other social activists in the New York City area. We use our historic meeting houses in Manhattan and Brooklyn for worship and as organizing venues for “good trouble.” In the last year, we’ve hosted teen punk rock shows, a rock opera, and served as launch pads for our participation in the Pride parade and End Fossil Fuels march. We also host meetings for worship every Sunday.  We are looking to reinvent faith and activism in NYC and beyond. We seek to put Quaker values of simplicity, peace, community, integrity, equality, and stewardship into action.
