    FAMILY SERVICE BUREAU OF NEWARK, NJ offers behavioral and mental health services for individuals, couples, and families with a myriad of problems ranging from domestic violence, juvenile acting out behaviors, truancy, school problems, dealing with child abuse and neglect, and core services to victims. Parenting groups, anger management classes, substance abuse education and counseling, and drug screenings are available for adults. Therapeutic youth group covering life skills, anger management, peer pressure and conflict resolution serve children. The Agency provides Essex County’s juvenile daytime crisis response services and a mentoring program for children of prisoners. Recruitment of and supportive services are available for Resource (Foster) families.
