  • About Us

    Campus Environment:

Showa Boston is the study-abroad campus of Showa Women’s University in Tokyo, Japan. Our mission is to increase students' English proficiency, to develop their cross-cultural awareness, and to foster their personal growth. Although students in long-term programs (4 to 17 months) are university-aged, students in short-term programs (3 days to 1 month) range in age from 12 to 80. The 40-acre campus, located atop Moss Hill, in Boston, houses all students in residence halls.
