    The Interfaith Community for Detained Immigrants (ICDI) is a 501(c)(3) Chicago-based non-profit working to uphold the dignity and human rights of immigrants. Our programs provide direct services and housing with wrap-around care to asylum seekers, and advocates for justice for immigrants at the local, state, and national levels.

    Program Descriptions:

    CITA (Chicago Immigrant Transit Assistance) assists recently-arrived asylum seekers by providing basic need items such as food, water, clothing, and translation services.

    The Housing and Case Management Program provides asylum seekers with community-based housing, case management, mentors, and a monthly stipend.

    The Migrant Children's Visitation Program provides visits, spiritual care, and religious materials to unaccompanied migrant youth in shelters.
