Seeking Volunteers

Hospice volunteers are a valuable part of our care team. Based on their individual interests and preferences, volunteers receive specific training to help improve the quality of life for others.

Volunteering takes no advanced medical training or great commitment. We prepare volunteers with specific training including the volunteer role, the hospice philosophy and end-of-life care, communication and stress management, and patient privacy and other regulations.

Volunteers bring a special perspective to the hospice care team and make a difference for each patient and family.

Companionship and socialization
