    The Green Press Initiative is a national program that is working to improve the ecological and social impacts of paper production and consumption. Its core objective is to catalyze transformations within the U.S. book and newspaper industries. Program staff work with publishers, mills, printers, and others to build demand and production infrastructure for environmentally responsible papers. Current program staff are located in Asheville, NC, Charlotte, NC, Silver Spring, MD and Burlington, VT.
