  • About Us

California Reentry Program volunteers counsel prisoners anticipating release from San Quentin State Prison. For over a decade, our volunteers have provided prisoners information on transportation, housing, education, employment, social services, and anything related to reentry. We also help prepare prisoners for the parole board. We have an open-door policy, so we have over 1,000 client contacts annually.

Volunteers help at San Quentin on Tuesday and Thursday evenings. If you cannot help through reentry counseling, please contact us about assisting by developing resources for distribution in San Quentin and throughout the California prison system.
