    Cabrini Green Legal Aid (CGLA) staff and volunteer attorneys provide no-cost legal assistance to 5,600 low-income Chicagoans each year and offer legal referrals to thousands more. CGLA provides legal services in the following areas: family law; housing law; criminal defense; and expungement, sealing and clemency. Through an integrated social work practice, CGLA strives to create lasting change in the lives of those whom we serve.

    Our purpose is to answer God’s call to seek justice and mercy for those living in poverty by providing legal services that strengthen individuals, families, and communities.
