Originally organized in 1916 as the New Orleans Chapter of the Drama League of America, and one year later as the Drawing Room Players, Le Petit Théâtre du Vieux Carré is a professional theatre company with strong ties to the New Orleans community. A 501(c) 3 performing arts organization, Le Petit Theater’s mission is to provide a wide range of quality theatrical productions and programming to entertain, enrich and educate the diverse population of the region and enhance the economic vitality of the city.
