About Us
The mission of Friends of the North Fork of the Shenandoah River is to protect the natural flow and beauty of the river. We are a 32-year old member-supported watershed conservation organization. We engage our community, including local residents and visitors, state and federal agency partners, our region's Public School systems, and more to care for the river and enhance the quality of life in our beautiful Shenandoah Valley.
