    Travelers Aid JFK is a volunteer-based social services program operated by Travelers Aid International and funded by the Port Authority of New York and New Jersey. Travelers Aid seeks to assist all airport passengers in a variety of capacities; in more complex cases Travelers Aid staff is prepared to assist with social service referrals, provide resources, and/or connect individuals with support systems. Volunteers, the core resource of the Travelers Aid program, lend their knowledge and experience to passengers—whether it be navigating the transit system, learning about sights to see, or traversing the airport.  Travelers Aid, in its essence, is a program dedicated to uplifting the passenger experience by lending a helping hand.
