  • About Us

SHARE El Salvador is an international non-profit organization that accompanies poor communities in El Salvador as they work for economic justice, democracy and sustainable development alternatives at the local and national levels. In the United States, SHARE works closely with faith communities to promote solidarity and accompaniment of the organized poor in El Salvador. SHARE believes that leadership development, women's empowerment, and increased participation of civil society are essential to building sustainable solutions to injustice and poverty. While supported by a network of communities of faith, SHARE is not a religious organization. (www.share-elsalvador.org)
