American Red Cross- Blood Services Southern Region

We collect and distribute half of the nation’s blood supply. The American Red Cross provides blood products to more than 140 medical facilities in 166 Georgia counties, and without volunteers like you this would be an impossible task.

The American Red Cross volunteers are an essential part of our proud tradition of service to the community, the country and the world. Our organization is led by more than 1.5 million volunteers nationwide. Volunteers not only play a vital role in the collection of blood they also provide administrative support to the organization.
