    MAAP's mission is to assist the people of Sacramento County, particularly in the Hispanic community, live healthier lives by alleviating the problems of chemical dependency and reducing the rate of HIV/AIDS infection. The agency provides education and prevention services to men, women, children, and youth through a variety of programs aimed at providing information on the effects of substance abuse on themselves and on their families, and to lead healthy and productive drug-free lives.
