    West Harlem Development Corporation (WHDC) is a nonprofit organization whose purpose is to implement the provisions of the May 18, 2009 Community Benefits Agreement (CBA) with Columbia University. The expected deliverables of WHDC include activities in affordable housing, arts and culture, community facility improvements, education, employment and economic development, environment, historic preservation, and transportation. The vision of WDHC is to maximize the benefits of the CBA through collaborations, grant making, direct services, and leveraging of resources. A dedicated team of board, management, and staff work to promote increased economic opportunities and quality of life for a vibrant West Harlem community.
