  • About Us

The Cattle Car: Stepping In and Out of Darkness is an immersive, 360-degree multimedia exhibit dedicated to educating people about the Holocaust and current-day injustices of prejudice, hate and discrimination.

Created by young leaders, the exhibit is traveling to university and high school campuses throughout North America as part of the Hate Ends Now Tour in partnership with Hate Ends Now. It aims to preserve the memories of the Holocaust as the number of survivors dwindle and their voices become increasingly muted. Furthermore, it strives to empower young leaders to think critically about the world we live in and their roles, power and responsibilities within it to face complexities thoughtfully and courageously. The exhibit, which is fully contained inside a full-sized WWII cattle car replica, has and will continue to help tens of thousands of students learn from the past and make a difference in the present.

With racism and discrimination on the rise and Holocaust education at an all-time low, this exhibit is timely. It is essential that we educate citizens about the terrible consequences of hatred and intolerance. As the world promised over 75 years ago- ‘Never Again’.
