  • About Us

The Washington Association of Churches (WAC) is an important ecumenical statewide mechanism which provides a strong, credible, effective, influential and ecumenical voice in state and federal public policy. We offer a program of federal and state public policy education, mobilization and advocacy. The WAC is the most useful platform to provide spiritual and theological basis for public policy action. We engage in theological discernment, ecumenical dialogue deepening church relationships to increase the faith depth of our public witness. The WAC is a critical and unparalleled resource to provide viable and active relationships between church and other sectors of our community. We participate in collaborative partnership with the broader community – inter-religious and secular networks.
