    Darrell Mays, the founder of the nsoro Educational foundation, spurred into action and created nsoro in 2005 after viewing the PBS documentary, "Aging Out," that chronicles the lives of three young people who aged-out of the foster care system and immediately realized that they were on their own. Thus, the mission of the nsoro Educational Foundation is to provide access and attainment to post-secondary education for all foster care youth in the state of Georgia and beyond.
