Maya Traditions Foundation is a Guatemalan and U.S. registered nonprofit organization located in Panajachel, Sololá, Guatemala. We directly support indigenous Maya women and youth from six rural communities in the Western Highlands of Guatemala. Through our education, health, and ethical tourism programs, we help 49 women and 67 students access greater opportunities for their futures all the while honoring their Maya heritage. We believe that the path to a healthy, sustainable future is an incremental process that, while guided by the Foundation, is ultimately led by our partner communities, the women, and students.
