    This 36-credit professional degree program will explore how globalization has broadened and intensified the scale and character of modern-day security challenges to include migration and refugee flows; environmental changes and resource scarcity; transnational crime and terrorism; poverty; and natural and manmade disasters. The program will focus on globalization and the issue of security as a fundamental human need. It will not only tackle these important topics, but at the same time it will provide you the practical skills needed for your future career - skills such as policy analysis,budgeting, methodologies, grant and professional writing, and presentation skills. The program will prepare you for careers in the private and public sectors, international organizations, non-governmental organizations and non-profit organizations that are now at the forefront of global public affairs.
