    The Austin Area Urban League is the Austin chapter of the National Urban League. We are a (501)c non-profit organization with a mission to assist African Americans and all other under-served Austin area residents in the achievement of societal and economic equality by focusing on educational improvement, employment readiness, health and wellness, and the preservation of affordable housing. The services we offer include free daytime and evening computer training courses, free GED classes, a first time home buyers class, job search assistance, work force development, free emergency home repair for low-income homeowners, and an after school program for the youth of Austin housing authority sites.
