RI Envirothon
About Us
RI Envirothon, Inc., is a small non-profit organization comprised mostly of natural resource professionals and current and retired school teachers. Our mission is to develop knowledgeable, skilled and dedicated citizens who are willing and prepared to work towards achieving and maintaining a natural balance between the quality of life and the quality of the environment. We promote a program environmental education in high schools state wide, and each spring hold a state-wide competition among the competing schools. The winner then represents Rhode Island in the North American Envirothon competition.
