  • About Us

The PTC: bringing America’s demand for positive, family-oriented television programming to the entertainment industry.

More than 1.3 million members strong and growing every day, the Parents Television Council (PTC) was established in 1995 as a nonpartisan group, offering private sector solutions to restore television to its roots as an independent and socially responsible entertainment medium.

Much of the PTC’s success stems from motivating the public to voice its support of family-friendly programming to network executives, advertisers, public policy leaders, and the creative community in Hollywood.
