Hazelbrook Community Center

  • About Us

Hazelbrook Community Center is THE recovery resource hub in the state of Colorado. This one of a kind non-profit is based in Aurora, but offers a variety of programs and services through the state of Colorado. Being founded and run by a group of individuals who are heavily immersed in the Colorado recovery movement, our programs and resources address the intricacies and challenges individuals experience on the road to sobriety. We currently service individuals through our Transitional Safety Zone [TSZ] program, life skill classes, performing and visual arts classes, fitness offerings, and peer coaching services. We also have been known to host great sober events throughout the year. Hazelbrook Community Center is looking to expand to offer same day support through peer navigators and onsite case management that can assist with housing, re-entry, jobs, transport, and other basic needs.   Future plans also include the REAL center (Resources, Education and Learning) classroom. This multipurpose space will be used for online access and printing capabilities for individuals seeking employment, a location for AA and other recovery meetings, and the home of our new Peer Recovery Coach Certification through the new ParadigmONE educational program. We are committed to helping people who are looking for a new way of life come and have fun, receive guidance, workout, do art and express themselves in a positive way in order to unite, make new friends, build new habits, improve their life, live a self-directed life, and strive to reach their full potential.
