Campana Quetzal

Campaña Quetzal is a coalition of parents, youth, individuals, educators, and organizations committed to unleashing the academic and personal potential of each Latino student and eliminating the academic achievement gap. Campaña Quetzal is addressing the problems, inequities, and opportunities before our students by: Educating and engaging the Latino community in Seattle on educational issues and developing cultural pride and parent leadership. Providing a forum for the discussion of educational and social justice issues that affect Latino and other students; Forging solutions through research, developing and testing theories of action, and evaluating performance; Shaping decisions and transforming institutions that affect the education of our youth through accountability, informed communications, strategic partnerships, and speaking with a unified voice.
