  • About Us

As a museum, our mission is to conserve important artifacts of the deep, rich, and ongoing history of the vegetarian movement in the US, thereby allowing us to promote the values and benefits of veganism for human health, the environment, and wellbeing of all life through our exhibits, educational programs, and literature.

We opened in 2017 as a traveling exhibit moving to a different venue in Chicagoland every 1-2 months, the first veg museum in the country. We also present a program at each of our venues: either a speaker, a vegan food demo, or a documentary. We have now been to over 25 different Chicago cultural institutions: libraries, churches and colleges.
