    Preparing the professionals who will grasp and guide change in the years ahead is the mission of Columbia’s School of International and Public Affairs (SIPA). Across the country and around the globe, SIPA alumni are at work in government, in business, in academia, and in nongovernmental agencies. They make essential contributions to the formulation, implementation, and evaluation of policy at all levels, from community organizer to presidential adviser.

    At SIPA you may choose from several different programs of graduate study: The Master of International Affairs (MIA) The Master of Public Administration (MPA) The MPA in Environmental Science and Policy (ESP) The Program in Economic Policy Management (PEPM) The Executive Master of Public Administration (EMPA) The Ph.D. in Sustainable Development.
