About Us
B’nai Shalom of Olney is a dynamic, egalitarian, conservative synagogue located in the Washington D.C suburbs that aspires to deeply connect people to Judaism and each other through meaningful engagement opportunities. Our multi-generational community of 350+ families includes a vibrant Early Childhood School, a robust supplemental Religious School, strong auxiliaries, award-winning Hazak and USY chapters, and a plethora of innovative programs. Our Clergy and lay leaders strive to make Judaism accessible, inclusive and relevant with a focus on instilling a love of lifelong learning, Tikkum Olam, and enhanced Jewish values.
