New York, NY

  • About Us

Global Information Network is a media center of independent journalism, a distribution partner of the Inter Press Service (IPS) international news wire and a producer of the weekly news summary Africa News Briefs. We also host a public forum on African newsmaking issues called The Africa Roundtable and we produce panels on African issues for such conference as The Left Forum.

We offer internships and volunteer opportunities in news writing, events planning, research and development of new social media channels. Experience in news writing, business development, grant writing or fundraising is a plus.
