  • About Us

The Dutchess County SPCA is a private nonprofit organization serving the animals and community of Dutchess County since 1871. As the third oldest animal welfare agency in the country, we envision a community in which there are caring, compassionate, respectful relationships between humans and animals, and that all adoptable animals have homes. We do this through our PAWS education programs for all ages, the humane law division which serves Dutchess County, the on-site veterinary clinic, and our Adoption and Education Center.
