    The Village Schoolhouse Academy is a small alternative school in Issaquah, Washington founded in 2009. Each year, a small class of multi-age students form a community based on kindness and connection. An individualized, challenging curriculum helps students cultivate wisdom; life lessons about ourselves and the world around us. A support animal is a consistent part of the classroom.

    The Academy is a radically inclusive, non-discriminatory, non-profit led by a Master Teacher, specialists, a highly qualified assistant, and parent volunteers.
