About Us
Friends of Animals is a non-profit no-kill cat and dog shelter founded in 1983 in West L.A. Our animals come from all walks of life. From being dumped in the mountains to being found alone in an apartment after their owner has passed.The more the dogs get walked and the cats are stroked, the better the chance they have of finding a home. We can’t give them all the comforts of home, but we can make their days a little brighter and YOU ARE THE FIRST STEP. We are always in need of volunteers, donations always welcome!
