Located in Somerville, Agassiz Preschool is a progressive, highly-acclaimed parent-staff cooperative that serves 45 children ages 2 - 5. We employ a professional staff committed to early care and education. Though sometimes bustling, sometimes perfectly quiet, it is always warm and relaxed. Agassiz Preschool is a place where kids can be their true selves while learning and having fun. Through play, we lay the groundwork for learning. We help intellect grow and imagination emerge. We support kids with their first efforts in making friends, nurturing self-esteem and confidence, and we teach about trust, tolerance and respect.
