About Us
Creating Magic in our community since 1985, Big Brothers Big Sisters of Acadiana "establishes and supports mentoring relationships that provide opportunities for positive youth development." We are an affiliate of Big Brothers Big Sisters of American, serving Louisiana parishes of Acadia, Lafayette, St. Martin, St. Landry, Evangeline, and Iberia. We consistently strive "to provide a mentor to every child who wants and needs one." Our energetic and caring volunteers find their lives too become a little brighter by helping boost a child’s self-esteem, academic achievement, relationship skills, and decreasing their liklihood of using drugs.
