The Reckoning Project

  • About Us

The Reckoning Project (TRP) promotes accountability for war crimes in Ukraine through collection of testimonies, for use in prosecutions and for dissemination to domestic and international audiences. Since the invasion began in 2022, TRP went straight to the front lines to gather over 250 verified testimonies of war crimes in Ukraine. This was done in close coordination with Ukrainian authorities. The findings were used to raise awareness about victims, their testimonies, as well as highlight the demand for justice across the world’s leading media outlets. In its second year as a growing NGO, TRP now prepares to expand its vital work in critical areas, increasing its impact and ensuring that evidence of war crimes is not lost, and public interest is not diminished.
