Public ALlies-Silicon Valley identifies a diversity of talented young, energetic adults (ages 18-29) and creates opportunities for them to practice leadership and strengthen their communities in an alliance with neighborhoods, nonprofits, business, and government.
Public Allies-Silicon Valley engages young adults in the transformation of communities through 10-month, full-time paid apprenticeships at community based organizations throughout San Francisco and the South Bay Ally members also participate in weekly training sessions and develop a community service project, designed to enhance leadership skills and strengthen communities.
