The ILWU is embarking upon a historic organizing drive to organize warehouse workers in Southern California. The workers in this industry are underpaid, have no job security, and are subject to discrimination, harassment, and unsafe working-conditions. All while performing vital work for billion-dollar corporations. The ILWU wants to bring good jobs with healthy, safe working environments to this industry and we are looking for individuals who want to get into the trenches with workers and organize from the bottom up.
