  • About Us

The NLG Prison Law Project currently focuses on providing the Jailhouse Lawyers Handbook, a free self-help legal manual published by the National Lawyers Guild and the Center for Constitutional Rights, to people in prison who request it. Family members and friends can download a free copy at http://jailhouselaw.org. Our dedicated group of volunteers has been distributing the handbook every week since early 2006.

We are currently based out of the NLG National Office in New York City.
