    Lone Star Legal Aid (LSLA) is a nonprofit organization dedicated to providing access to justice for low-income residents of East Texas who have nowhere else to turn. The fourth largest legal aid agency of its type in the United States, LSLA offers free civil legal services, including advice and counsel, advocacy, representation, litigation, and community legal education/outreach. Lone Star Legal Aid serves more than 17,000 people per year who face issues such as domestic violence, health care access, housing, employment, education, and income maintenance, in addition to violations of consumer and civil rights.
