Invisible Illness Awareness Network

  • About Us

The Invisible Illness Awareness Network (IIAN) is a 501(c)(3) Non-Profit Organization dedicated to raising awareness and providing support for individuals with invisible illnesses. Through initiatives like our affiliate program and our Invisibly Aware Series, we aim to educate current and future healthcare professionals and the general public about invisible illnesses, chronic illnesses, and disabilities. Our affiliate program, which began at Loyola University Chicago and has expanded to the University of Pennsylvania, continues to grow as we collaborate with more universities to implement our educational programs, particularly those with pre-health tracks. Our Invisibly Aware Series is an implementation of our affiliate program and is open to the public.
