    The Vietnamese-American Civic Association, Inc. is a nonprofit multi-service agency founded in 1984 by Vietnamese refugees to Vietnamese refugees and immigrants. VACA's mission is to promote family self-sufficiency and well-being, and to facilitate community empowerment. Located in the Fields Corner neighborhood of Dorchester, the heart of Boston's Vietnamese community, VACA meets this mission by providing a wide array of services including health awareness education and outreach, a variety of youth programs, employment and training programs, English for Speakers of Other Languages and citizenship classes.
