About Us
Key Ministry's vision has been to build the Body of Christ by empowering churches to minister to families of children with hidden disabilities. These disabilities don't necessarily show up in a photograph. They refer to kids with intellectual disabilities, chromosomal syndromes or medical conditions associated with significant cognitive impairment.
The ministry to families of children with 'special needs' movement has grown a great deal in the past 10 years. And, Key Ministry has been an organization that has helped to shape and assist that movement. But, we've only begun to scratch the surface!
As a result, Key Ministry's current focus is to clarify, test and provide the knowledge, innovation and experience to the worldwide church that will help the church minister to and with families of children impacted by mental illness, trauma and developmental disabilities.
